Following on from an official complaint made to South Wales Police by Linda Lewis and a meeting that was subsequently held with South Wales Police attended by Linda , myself , Duncan Higgitt and Plaid Cymru Welsh Assembly Member Bethan Jenkins AM I can now confirm that the statement made to Linda Lewis and myself by PC Goulding indicating that Linda had been arrested on the 11th of December 1998 has now been confirmed by South Wales Police in writing as being false.
Linda Lewis has never been arrested by anyone.
We will be pursuing this further at a later date.
South Wales Police have now amended this on their computer system ( NICHE ).

I have always maintained that no matter how far back we go to uncover the truth then so be it but I most definitely stand by my previous comments on this case and that is when evidence is produced showing any wrong doing then those people no matter how long it takes should be brought to justice, there should be no timescales on uncovering the truth and finally giving Linda the justice she deserves.
